THE TRUTH OF IT

I'm just a bum.
Everyone's working hard. 
Devotees are ringing bells
milking cows
milking Indians..
And I'm applying for food stamps.
I'm so lazy.
I don't want to work
I don't want to do anything. 
Not even work for Krishna.
Not at all what my spiritual master wanted.
I hang out on Facebook
like it was the local tavern.
Daydream all day long.
And then give my expert opinion on 
how the movement should be managed. 
That's the truth of it.
The Lord is so merciful
Even a nonsense like me 
can still think of Him... chant His Name
Marvel at His activities
and be awestruck at His Devotees.
