As usual, someone feels it's necessary to correct Aindra prabhu for his glorification of harinam sankirtan. At the close of the essay there are comments and one of the comments is quite long.. going into great deal about how important varnashrama dharma is and how Aindra prabhu should temper his glorification of the Holy Name so people will not misunderstand.
This is usually what happens when a devotee on the platform of rasa expresses his ecstasy. Someone on the level of rules and regulations feels they have to instruct and correct them. It is quite funny actually. These are two different platforms of realization.
They are both devotional service but devotional service on the platform of rasa, spontaneous attraction, has no need for controls and boundaries. Devotional service on the platform of rules and regulations is performed "in order to achieve something." If I do this and I do that according to this rule or that regulation then I will develop love for Krishna.
But on the spontaneous platform of rasa, activities are performed because of love for Krishna. They are not performed to achieve anything. The love is already there and that is why the activities are performed.
So it is quite humorous when a devotee speaking from the platform of rasa, is corrected by a devotee speaking on the platform of rules and regulations. The devotee in rasa is already experiencing what the devotee in rules regulations is trying to achieve. But the latter is instructing the former. Very funny.
