There is a devotee in the Satyabhama pastime that I just love. He was the son of Satyabhama's nurse when she was a child. The nurse was there and her son and the princess would play together. Like brother and sister. He was the son her nurse. But they grew up together, like brother and sister.
When Satyabhama was married to Krishna the nurse's son went with her to Krishna's palace and lived there like a brother-in-law.
He would joke with Krishna like a brother-in-law.
He would joke with Krishna like a brother-in-law.
Krishna’s wives were all individual personalities, and of them all, Satyabhama was the most feisty. She always used to offer an argument, which Krishna would enjoy. Here, she is unhappy because another of Krishna’s wives, Rukmini, has a parijata flower, and she does not.
