Why would You leave?
All the saints and sages aspire to be in Vrndavan in full Krishna consciousness.
The order of Your spiritual master. But was it Duty? Duty only?
Or was it desire to taste service in separation?
Did You find in those who came to you blissful service to Krishna?
Did those who came to You give You great pleasure?
Did each one bring Krishna to You anew?
Did You relish each one whatever little they could do to utter the Holy Name?
Did Your ecstasy increase more and more to hear the Holy Names chanted on their lips more and more?
Echoing Your own desire for Krishna.
Even now after Your disappearance is this mood and desire of Yours the substance of Krishna consciousness for all Your followers?
Or was it desire to taste service in separation?
Did You find in those who came to you blissful service to Krishna?
Did those who came to You give You great pleasure?
Did each one bring Krishna to You anew?
