MOTHER DEVAKI KNOWS HER SONS CAPABILITIES

Mother Devaki asks Krishna and Balarama to bring her six dead sons killed by Kamsa back to life so she can see them. She states that she understands who Krishna and Balarama are, the Supreme Personality of Godhead and their ability to do anything and everything. But she is still relating to them as her sons.

Sometimes a parent asks their child to do something for them.
My mother used to ask me to go into the pantry and bring different foods to her while she was cooking. Somehow I usually managed to forget what she asked me to bring to her by the time I got into the pantry. That was extent of my capabilities. 

But Devaki knows the capabilities of her sons and so her asking them to bring the six dead children back to life is certainly extraordinary but not for Krishna and Balarama. Again what is extraordinary is that Devaki is seeing them as her sons and they are happy to have her as Their mother. Eternally. These pastimes are eternal.

As Suta Goswami takes the time to point out to the assembled sages at Naimisharanya. They are not ordinary narrations of historical incidences:
""Great sages, please understand that the transcendental pastimes of Lord Krishna are all eternal. They are not ordinary narrations of historical incidences. Such narrations are identical with the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself. Anyone, therefore, who hears such narrations of the Lord's pastimes becomes immediately freed from the contamination of material existence. And those who are pure devotees enjoy these narrations as nectar entering into their ears." KB 2.30
